MicroFID II

The MicroFID II Flame Ionization Detector (FID) is a portable instrument designed for HAZMAT detection, confined space entry and soil gas monitoring. MicroFID II provides measurements over a wide range of VOCs, including methane. Its operating range of 0.1 ppm to 50,000 ppm helps define the severity of a hot zone. MicroFID II allows up to 70 hours of continuous use at very low pressure (80 psi) to maximize field operation up-time. Typical applications include chemical incident response, arson accelerant investigations, soil gas monitoring and petroleum products tank entry.
