AFS Aerosol Fluorescence Sensor

The Aerosol Fluorescence Sensor (AFS) uses separate measurements on different parts of the fluorescence spectrum to differentiate biological particles from fluorescing man-made pollutant particles in the atmosphere. Fluorescence detection output 1 is 300 - 420 nm (UV); fluorescence detection output 2 is 420 - 650 nm (visible). The AFS can be operated alone or in tandem with Biral’s Aspect particle size and shape analysis system to provide multi-parameter characterization.
