DataFID
The DataFID detects gas-phase volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in potentially explosive environments using flame ionization detection. The DataFID provides non-specific detection of VOCs from 0.1 ppm to 50,000 ppm. The product is targeted to industries needing to monitor processes for fugitive emissions as required by the Clean Air Act. The DataFID is compatible with Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) software systems such as LeakDAS®; flame restart can be initiated through the software system. Previously sold under the same name by PhotoVac, which was acquired by INFICON in 2011.
